The Beauty Benefits of Rose in Skin Care

Rose has been used as a beauty regiment for centuries, especially for those with sensitive skin. The first rose was found in Crete somewhere between 1700 and 2000 BC. Cleopatra knew the great benefits, she soaked in rose petal-infused milk, the ancient Greeks and Romans used rose petals to perfume their baths. Rose petals has also been used to improve digestion when brewed as a tea.

Rose water has many uses, such as treating acne, acne-prone skin, sore throats and much more. Rose Water is created by distilling rose petals with steam. The liquid has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties that help to hydrate and soothe skin.
