I was a retailer for well known candle manufacturers. They were nice candles but my customers complained about the scent not being strong when burned. I didn't want to disappoint them any longer so in the fall of 2004 I decided to make my own candles, natural, sweet smelling and strong . It worked, my customers loved them. My signature scent Red Passion(now known as Red Hook)became a huge success. The skin care products started because my children and I suffered with severe dry skin and I couldn't find anything over the counter that would help. I also wanted products that were made with natural ingredients.
In the summer of 2006 I decided to go a step further and make natural skin care products, that way I knew what was going in the products. Loyal customers, products with a personal touch and word of mouth is making Brooklyn Flavors a huge success. I use Shea Butter, Almond Oil and all the other great oils that will soothe, moisturize and nourish your skin.
Our mission is to promote a healthy approach to beauty and candle burning by creating natural handmade bath and body products and candles made with the best quality natural ingredients from around the world.
